Introduction to Recheck:

Recheck is the verification platform and system of record for residential solar. Backed by SEIA, the RSA, and leading solar lenders including Mosaic, GoodLeap, Dividend, and Sunlight, their mission is to accelerate the energy transition by increasing transparency and accountability in the solar sales process. This in turn will help leading installers and sales organizations build trust with homeowners, financing partners, and regulators and further differentiate themselves from bad actors setting back the industry.

The way it works is simple: solar professionals go through a simple verification process and receive a unique Recheck ID and profile that validates their identity and showcases their industry credentials. They can then use this platform to build trust with homeowners and create transparency and accountability in every step of the sales process. Lenders and other industry stakeholders can also use Recheck to ensure that partners are representing themselves honestly and holding themselves to high standards.


Setup Guide (for sales dealer account admins):

  1. Create an individual Recheck profile here by providing basic personal information and completing an ID verification process. This takes less than 2 minutes on average

  2. Once verification is complete, you can fill in your individual profile with background details, certifications, and licenses (if applicable)

  1. In the top right of your individual profile, you'll see the option to create a business profile in the 'Business' dropdown

  1. Fill in requested business details and submit. Note: please make sure to use your state entity number (typically searchable via your state's Secretary of State website) and not your EIN

  2. Fill in name, phone number, and email for business principals (owners and key executives) and submit your application for review. The Recheck team will quickly review and approve your application

  3. You can then edit your profile by adding a company overview, contact details, and a logo

  1. To invite team members to join your Recheck business account, click ‘Add’ within the ‘Team’ section

  1. For larger teams, you can copy the unique link in the 'Add Team Member' page and send to the team members you'd like to invite to verify and join your account. If you'd also like to automatically link anyone who signs up for Recheck with an email belonging to your company, reach out to support@recheck.co and we will set that ups

  1. Invited team members will be notified via email (example below) and instructed to join your team and set up their own Recheck account:

  1. You will then be able to monitor Recheck verification status across your teams from within the 'Team' section of the business profile page

  2. Once this process is complete, you can share your Recheck ID (visible within the ‘Profile’ section of your business account) with EPCs so they can link their account and gain visibility into the Recheck status of your team. Once they’ve made the link request, you will receive an email requesting to add your company as a partner
