How do I get Recheck Certified?

To get Recheck Certified, you'll first need a Recheck account and ID. See How do I get a Recheck ID? for instructions on setting up your account.

1. Start the process

Go to recheck.co/account/get-certified, or click "Continue" on the banner at the top of your existing Recheck account.

2. Sign the code of conduct

Read and sign the Recheck Certified code of conduct. This defines the ethical and professional standards you're committing to uphold as a Certified rep.

3. Pay the annual fee

Enter your payment details to pay the $199 annual fee. Once active, the credential is yours and stays on your account.

4. Complete your background check

Complete the criminal background check through our partner, Yardstik. The check is designed for the realities of in-home sales. Results usually come back within 1-2 days but can take longer depending on location.

5. Complete the ethical sales training

The Recheck Certified ethical sales training course takes approximately 1.5 hours across three online modules, with knowledge check questions embedded throughout and a short assessment at the end:

• Ethics & Consumer Protection (~30–35 min)

• Finance & Contract Fundamentals (~25–30 min)

• System Fundamentals (~20–25 min)

You can complete the training in one sitting or come back to it - your progress is saved.

6. Eligibility review

Once your background check and training are complete, Recheck runs a final eligibility review. If everything checks out, you'll get a notification confirming you've been Certified.

Your Recheck profile updates to show your Certified status, and you'll receive a downloadable leave-behind credential with your name, photo, certification date, and a QR code homeowners can scan to verify you on the spot.
